2002, Altair celebrated 40 years of conducting business as an electronic
component distributor. Altair Electronics, a division of The Richardson
Trident Company, was incorporated in the state of Texas in 1962. With a
centrally located warehouse in the Dallas suburb of Richardson, Altair
is positioned to service its valued customers across North America. Altair's
mission is to provide a high level of customer service in fulfilling its
customers needs and to build mutually profitable business relationships
as a result of superior quality and service.
Altair Electronics has over fifteen years of experience in contract
manufacturing of cable assemblies, cable harnesses and turnkey assemblies
for both commercial and military customers. Altair can assemble wiring
products with UL and CSA approvals, and is currently certified to ISO 9001
: 2000. Altair has an experienced technical staff that includes both electrical
and mechanical engineers that provides production review during the quotation
process.
